If you don’t have one yet, let me know! I work quite well with small businesses and solopreneurs.
Where do we start? We will talk about your accomplishments and goals. I will gather information, develop content, select imagery, and create a logo; then we’ll build consistent branding. In my experience, there is an evolution of message and presentation that occurs with a productive long-term client/designer relationship. This is what I do best.
I am 100% devoted to WordPress, the BEST Content Management System (CMS). It is an intuitive way to create and manage the posts and pages of your website.
WordPress is the leading platform for getting your site from your mind onto the web, with the least fuss. It is an open-source platform and comes full-featured out of the box and is also extendable by the use of themes and plugins.
Did you know? Themes dictate the look of a site, although some also provide extra functionality. Plugins extend the functionality of a site, and the plugin ecosystem is huge. There is a plugin for any practical application.
The functionality of WordPress is applied to many purposes — artists, business sites, e-commerce, magazines, newspapers, and online news sources.
The key qualities of a solid website are:
My Portfolio pages display recent web projects (or you may click on the linked images above).
My Services page has samples of print advertising, flyers, promos, business cards, and social media designs.
I bring focused artistry to your website content followed by unified social media graphics, flyers, and ads that build your brand.
Design isn’t just my talent, it’s also my passion.
Let’s make words and images into meaningful messages.
“We hired Annie to create two websites for our business and she did a fabulous job! She was able to not only handle the technical aspects of building a website but also to understand the vision of our business and translate that onto our websites. Annie’s creativity and artistic sense made all the difference.”
– Zach Johnson, Owner/Artisan/Mason
“I’ve worked with Annie on three complex web design projects for my video business. It has been a fun, collaborative experience each time. I appreciate how her thoughtful decision-making was rooted in the story we were telling of my brand. In the end, there’s a stylistic consistency to the look and the message of each website. “
